Who Am I?
Every piece you’ll see was designed by me. I’m Liss, 20, from Bolton. By day, I work in administration — but at heart, I’ve always been creative.
I love going out with my friends, travelling, spending time with the people I love.
Recently, I’ve found a new balance — between fun and faith, between who I was and who I’m becoming.
And deep down, I know I’m made for more.
The origin story
How SØLIS Became…
I’ve always loved feeling glam. Feeling beautiful.
And more than that — making other people feel beautiful.
When I left school, I went straight into beauty. At the time, it felt right. But as the years went on, I realised it wasn’t the passion I thought it was.
For a while, I was just living for the weekends — getting ready with the girls, chasing that feeling. Until recently. I found balance. But a way I can still be involved every Friday and Saturday.
Because I know how much confidence can change everything. I love when an outfit comes together. I love when I feel powerful. And I love helping other girls feel the same.
One day at work, I started drafting ideas… And I thought — what better than to build something I actually understand?
Something that feels like me.
The inspiration
What Inspires me?
I’m inspired every day by the people around me.
By the friends I’m lucky to have — strong, supportive girls. By my family for their knowledge. By my boyfriend, who pushes me to grow and reminds me I’m capable of more.
But I also inspire myself.
For the girls who don’t always feel comfortable. Even when people say, “you look great” — the real glow comes from the growth.
From getting myself out of hard places. From choosing better. From becoming stronger.
And now, I truly feel like I can do anything.
The name
It means light.
Solis isn’t just a play on my name.
For the girls who shine boldly.
And for the girls finding their way there.
For confidence. For growth.
For knowing brighter days always come.
That’s why it had to be SØLIS.
